About Me

I believe I have the best job in the world. Every day I have the honor of witnessing the miracle of change in the lives of others. I can not wait to see you achieve change in your life

I would like to thank you for taking the time to visit my page and learn more about my practice. I’m a small town Georgia born and raised girl who knew very early on that my passion in life was helping others to get the most out of their lives. So I began my academic journey at Kennesaw State University and earned my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology, then went onto to earn my Master’s in Marriage and Family Therapy at Richmont Graduate University. With a specialization in child and adolescent therapy I began my career in North West Georgia working in a variety of settings community based, inpatient, and a small private practice.

After earning my license in 2016, I felt it was time to settle and focus my energy into one setting rather than the variety I had been working in. After much thought consideration and prayer, I knew it was time to take what I had learned and put it to work in my own practice.  I wanted to open a space where compassionate, creative, positive change could happen and I wanted to be a part of that change.

I’m a firm believer in meeting people where they are and will work closely with each client to customize treatment to meet their specific needs. I am holistic in my approach meaning that I recognize you are an important part of a larger system and it is my desire to help you reach your best in all areas of life. Because each persons’ purpose is so specific and special I don’t limit myself to one specific theory or framework, but I do tend to utilize family systems, solution focused, cognitive behavioral and Christian perspectives more often. My heart for helping children lead me to pursue additional training in TF-CBT (trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy) and TBRI (trust based relational intervention).  Although, I have specialized training for working with child and adolescent populations my practice is not for children only. I have a passion for helping couples, families, and adults thrive and be successful. Still unsure if I’m the right therapist for you? Give me a call I would to meet you and help you to find the best fit for your specific needs.

When I’m not at work, I find myself spending the majority of my time with my family enjoying some sort of outdoor activity. Growing up in North West Georgia I have fierce love of the outdoors and when warm enough all water related activities. I am serious about my faith and more recently have been involved in mission work. I love to learn and try new things which often leads me and loved ones on some amazing adventures.

Thank you again for taking your time to learn more about me and Calli’s Counseling and Consultation Services. I look forward to meeting with you and learning about how to have compassionate creative change in your life.
